Centre for Strategic Studies, CSS

The Centre for Strategic Studies (CSS) is one of New Zealand's leading think tanks on international relations and security issues, based at Victoria University of Wellington. Established in the late 1990s, CSS provides in-depth analysis and research on strategic policy, defense, and security matters affecting New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. The centre aims to contribute to the understanding of global strategic challenges and to inform policy debates both within New Zealand and internationally. CSS hosts seminars and conferences, engaging with policymakers, academics, and the defense community to discuss contemporary security issues.
