The international dialogue meeting is scheduled to take place after the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and at the same time as the ongoing United Nations Summit of the Future at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. According to the conference study, after more than 30 years of ups and downs, developing countries have returned to the center of the world stage, and the rise of the "global South" has attracted world attention. Emerging markets and developing countries now account for nearly 40 percent of global GDP and 80 percent of world economic growth, becoming the main driving force behind global economic growth. This historical process not only reflects the leap in the economic strength of developing countries, but also shows the trend of diversification of the global power structure, and is an important embodiment of the "re-globalization" that benefits all, inclusiveness and balance. The century-old changes in the world are accelerating, and the world has entered a new period of turbulence and change. The sluggish recovery of the world economy has brought unprecedented challenges to human society. The international community needs to focus on accelerating the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals, strengthen support for South-South cooperation, encourage all parties to further build broad consensus under the UN framework, and promote the development of countries in the global South through strengthening capacity building.
