President Boakai of the Republic of Liberia visited the ICC Joint Council

In the afternoon of September 8, Joseph Nyumah Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia, with his wife First Lady Kartumu Yaris Boakai and members of the presidential delegation to China visited the Jianguanmen Office of the International Cooperation Center (ICC). Zhang Chongqing, member of the Strategic Advisory Committee of the ICC Joint council, Honorary President of the China Group Companies Association (CGCA), Zhang Yu, Convenor of the ICC Joint Council and Director of the Council' s Steering Committee, as well as other members of the Strategic Advisory Committee attended the meeting. Directors of the Center for International and Strategic Studies, the World Economy Research Office, the Africa Research Office, the Secretariat of the ICC Joint Council and invited experts also met with President Boakai and the presidential delegation.

Reception in Honour of H.E. President of the Republic of Liberia and Delegation to FOCAC 2024 China

In the evening, the ICC Joint Council and the CGCA held a reception to welcome the delegation of President Boakai. Zhang Chongqing and other Chinese leaders and experts joined forces with Sylvester M. Grigsby, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Liberia; J. Alexander Nuetah, Minister of Agriculture; Amin Modad, Minister of Commerce and Industry; Wilmot Paye, Minister of Land, Mines and Energy; Jeff Bante Blibo, Chairman of the National Investment Commission; Dudley McKinley Thomas, Liberian Ambassador to China; Gregory O. W. Coleman, Inspector General of National Police; Prince Wreh, Executive Chairman of the Special Economic Zone; Lambratu Tejan, General Representative of Promax Liberia and other members of the delegation attended the meeting and reception dinner.
