Recently, Princess Faizwa replied to the person in charge of ICC, in which she extended sincere gratitude to China for its long-term support to ASEAN in terms of deepening regional integration and playing a greater role in dealing with international and regional affairs. In particular, she mentioned China's initiative and sense of responsibility in boosting the sustainable recovery and development of world economy. Meanwhile, she thought highly of ICC’s comprehensive strategic cooperation with the Malaysian International Economic and Social Development Association, the Association for Dialogue of World Civilisations.

Princess Faizwa said that Malaysia and China are neighboring countries, and the bilateral relations are rooted in the long-standing traditional friendship between the two countries. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1974, Malaysia and China have made remarkable results in various economic and social fields. The Malaysian royal family and all sectors of society look forward to continued and prosperous development of Malaysia-China relations for the benefit of the people of both countries. Nowadays, the world is undergoing complicated and profound changes. However, peace and development remain as the underlying values, and are still deeply rooted in the minds of the people. She will maintain closely communicating and coordinating with ICC, and further strengthen and promote all-round exchange and cooperation between Malaysia and China, to jointly safeguard the unity and centrality of ASEAN, so as to create a bright future for regional peace, stability and prosperity.

Few days ago, the head of ICC sent a letter to Princess Faizwa, expressing gratitude to the Malaysian royal family for their long-term attention and support in promoting high-level exchanges between Malaysia and China, and deepening the people-to-people exchange and bilateral cooperation there between. The person in charge of ICC said that the unprecedented tremendous changes in full swing way pose direct impacts and severe challenges to global development. ICC and Princess Faizwa will maintain close communication and coordination following the overall trend. Seizing the important opportunities of having established Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and implementing the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the two sides will continue to promote the high-level exchanges, deepen the bilateral exchange and cooperation in various fields, and join hands to write a new chapter in promoting regional peace, stability and development.
